Frequently Asked Questions

  • As you may have noticed, I’m a bit eclectic. My main specialty lies in fine art and illustration, and I use both traditional and digital methods. My traditional and digital works can vary, but do find unity in my heavy use of line, affinity for using the color blue, and whimsical quality.

I also do graphic design, and I have made many logos, promotional graphics, and brand guides for clients and for personal projects. In addition — since books are kinda my life outside of art — I have used my skills in graphic design to do cover designs/redesigns and have done a few publications.

  • My fine/digital art practice centers mainly on mental health advocacy and highlighting women and nature. There is so much beauty and wonder within and around us. It is always my hope that I can reflect or bring some more of that beauty and wonder into the world.

I do my best to show my fascination with the world, in particular, through the illustrations and graphics I make for books, branding, and logos. Regarding the illustrations I made for the children’s book I participated in, I am eager to use that fascination to kindle the wonder inside children; to help them view the world with amazement while growing a life-long love for reading.

  • I am currently working to find the best way for me to sell my art online. There’s so many options and I want to make sure that I can offer a wide variety of products in a way that’s convenient for you and supports my vision. In short, soon, but not yet…

At the moment, the best way to own my art is to commission me or to buy one of my prints or originals at an artist market.

  • AI can be a wonderful tool when used correctly. Unfortunately, there are a lot of ways in which the approach to AI needs to be shifted, especially in terms of ethics and environmental impact.

I do not personally utilize generative AI in my work. All the art and projects featured on my website are human-made, and I don’t plan on ever changing that.

  • Yes! I have experience in logo and merchandise design, branding, publication design, fine art, and illustration. If you like what you see and could use me for a project, I would love to hear from you!

Please feel free to send me an email or contact me through my website.

  • The best way to start is to contact me through my email or through my contact page. From there, we can discuss what kind of project you want to do, what you’d like for the end result, how the process is going to go, etc. We’ll also lay out pricing, and we’ll sign a proposal and agreement.

While I may not be able to take on every project, don’t let that discourage you! I’m always eager to see how I can help people.

  • When we’re finished with our project, you’re entitled to use the final deliverables for the purpose we both agree upon. For example, if I agree to illustrate a book for you, you will be able to use my art in that book and show the cover and perhaps a select few pages for marketing and storefront efforts. If I agree to make a fine art piece for you, you may have and use it for your personal display.

I still retain the right to display the finished product, any sketches, beginning ideas and ideation, etc. on my personal website, in my portfolio, or on my social media, since that all falls under my intellectual property.

  • You can reach out to me anytime via my contact page or email! I do my best to respond quickly, but please have patience if it takes a day or two, especially if it’s first contact.

  • It really depends on the project and how you’re planning to use the final product. For instance, a logo, fine art commission, and an illustrated children’s book will all have different prices, since they have different requirements and take different lengths of time.

After an initial conversation, I’ll provide you with a transparent quote with no hidden costs. There may be fluctuations in cost depending on external factors, but I will always do my best to keep you updated
